If you have registered for the Electronic Diversity Visa Lottery between October 6, 2021, and November 9, 2021, your lottery result will be published on May 7, 2022. The winners of the diversity visa lottery are selected at random by an automated electronic system. Every year, the United States is issuing permanent residency to 50,000 immigrants from around the world, including Nepal, as part of the EDV program. The DV program has attracted a large number of Nepalese citizens who want to immigrate to the United States.
How to Check DV 2023 Results?
Before you check your result, ensure you have the entrant’s confirmation number, Last/Family Name, and Year of Birth you received when you applied for DV 2023. While checking the result, you will be requiring all this information to be filled out.
To start checking the results for DV 2023, visit www.dvprogram.state.gov and follow the steps given below.
Steps to check your EDV result:
- Visit the Official Page, Click here
- Click on the ‘Check Status’ button
- Click on the ‘Continue’ button
- Then you will be redirected to Enter Entrant Information page, where you have to fill out the required information like Confirmation Number, Last/Family Name, Year of Birth, and Authentication.
- After filling out the form, click the ‘Submit’ button
DV Lottery Result Status
Your DV result will appear on the screen if you have been selected or not.
If you are selected, you will see – you have been randomly selected for further processing in the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program.
If you are not selected – you will see – you have not been selected.
