How to Activate Nepal Telecom (NTC) VoLTE Service?

VoLTE stands for Voice over LTE (Long Term Evolution), which refers to voice calls made over a 4G LTE network rather than the typical 2G or 3G connections. It is an advanced technology that reduces background noise in voice calls to give high-quality sound, clarity, and quality voice conversations (HD quality).

VoLTE Service in Nepal Telecom (NTC)

Nepal Telecom (NTC) has introduced the VoLTE service in Nepal, where 4G network coverage is accessible. To use the VoLTE service, NTC users must activate the VoLTE service in their SIM and need to have a VoLTE support handset.

How to activate VoLTE service in the NTC network?

To activate VoLTE service in your Ntc network, follow the steps below:

  • Dial *444#and select option 2
  • VoLTE service will be activated in your network
  • After activating VoLTE service on your network, you can see the HD/VoLTE icon on the top bar of the phone screen.

VoLTE Service Charges:

VoLTE service does not charge any additional cost, the service is FREE of cost.

Another exciting offer from Nepal Telecom, on the first activation of VoLTE service NTC, is providing Free 100-minute VoLTE voice calls, which will be valid for 28 days. Dial *111# or 1444 to get 100 minutes of free VoLTE voice calling.

All calls made using VoLTE will not use any data. It will be charged at the same rate as your regular calls.

How to deactivate VoLTE service in the Ntc network?

To deactivate VoLTE service in the Ntc network, check below:

  • Dial *444# and select option 3
  • Then VoLTE service will be deactivated from your number/network.
