How do I apply for NOC online in Nepal? No Objection Certificate in Nepal
Students who wish to pursue higher education abroad can now submit an application online and print their NOC (No Objection Certificate) online. Visit the official website, https://noc.moest.gov.np/, to submit an online application for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) in Nepal.
Mobile Verification
- Enter your mobile number and click on Proceed.
- Check your mobile phone message box for the OTP
- Enter the provided OPT and click on Proceed
- Enter the New Password, Confirm it, and click Submit
Email Verification
- Enter your email address and click Request token.
- For the Email verification token, check your inbox.
- Type the token and click on the verification email.
Citizenship Setup
- Fill in all the required information correctly.
- Then upload your citizenship on both sides and your recent photo. (Note: The uploaded file should be in image format and not exceed more than 5MB.)
- Then click on Confirm.
Passport Setup
- Enter your passport details as required. (Passport and Date of Birth)
- Upload your scanned passport. Note: The uploaded file should be in image format and not exceed more than 5 MB.
- Then click on Confirm.
Application for No Objection Certificate
- Fill out the online application form with all the information correctly. You will need to fill in your academic country, previous academic level, faculty, and previous NOC number if you have applied (if you have not applied, you can skip).
- Now select the country, select the College/University, select the level of study, select the stream or faculty, and select a subject.
- For eligibility descriptions, upload the Offer Letter or I-20 in pdf format.
- Upload your recent academic certificates and supporting documents.
- Click Proceed.
- Now click on Download Form to download the submitted form for your confirmation. It will be required to be taken to the office to collect NOC once verified.

How to check your application status?
- To check your application status, click the three-dash (≡) icon in the left top corner.
- Click My NOC and check your application status, verified or not.
- If verified, check your email for the Application number and payment amount for NOC.
- Pay your NOC fee online and get a date to collect your NOC. Payment can be made using Khalti or eSewa.

- Offer Letter/Acceptance Letter/I-20 (Photocopies).
- Passport (Original & Photocopy).
- Citizenship Certificate (Original & Photocopy).
- Academic certificates (Photocopies).
- NOC Form that you download while applying online.
- Payment receipt of NOC (Rs. 2000).
Where to collect my NOC?
Visit the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology office in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur to collect your NOC on the specified date with your printed online application form and supporting documentation. Students who wish to pursue higher education overseas can now apply for NOC online.
